Pete, shown here with Son Tom, is Chairman of the3rd Foot & Mouth & the main contact & organiser. Pete has never worked professionally in the catering industry but is a keen cook.
Colin was the second Professional Chef to join 3FM, Colin used to work as a Chef in different areas of the country but now, luckily for us, he has returned to his home town of Chorley. Although Colin no longer works in the industry, he still retains and practises his skills. Colin doesn't like doing breakfasts!
Paul has only been on a couple of our events but has supported 3FM in many other ways for a long time. As a printer by trade, Paul has supplied our meal vouchers for Red Rose 94 and helped out with signs etc.
Cath is now one of the regular team who support SAGGA's AGM weekends and has become a vital part of that team. Ask her about Cream Puffs !
Dave Pierce
Dave Pierce is our Burger specialist and has found his true vocation in life, to be stood behind a griddle frying bacon, sausages burgers etc. Dave used to just attend our larger events but has now started to become part of the hard-core central team which serves the majority of our events.
Sue Twinn
Sue, John's better half is one of those people that is always in the background and available when we most need someone.
Pete, our present ACC Scouts doesn't have much spare time but has put loads of it into becoming one of our newest and busiest members, Pete could always cook anyway but is now becoming a leader in his own fields. Pete is also our butter-icing specialist.
Jackie is an excellent cook in her own right and up until recently was a School Dinner Lady. Jackie has also saved the day on a couple of occasions when we have had event dates that clash and she has stepped in to take one of them on.
Kate, Pete's better half relentlessly puts up with Pete being away catering for the weekend and when possible, also comes on events also. Kate normally ends up shopping for the things we forgot and delivers them to the event location for us.
Lonnie is a fairly new member but is putting in a lot of time and developing his skills very well indeed.
Mike O'Hara
Mike was catered for by 3FM on a Sailing/Canoeing course at Moor Crag once and enjoyed it so much, he asked if he could join the team!
Phil Read
Phil is mainly involved with our major events like Red Rose 94, Niagara 97 etc
Andrew Cunningham
Despite being a Scouser, Andy is an excellent amateur cook, proved to us when he had a BBQ at his house when his Mum & Dad were away once.
Neil Haworth
or Grommet is the 3FM mascot, he can't get out of bed in a morning to make breakfast and is normally finding a party going on somewhere on-site when it's time to make supper. Even so, he's a superb member of the team.
Betty Harvey
Betty is the main member of what used to be a threesome of "Betty Myra and Alison". A well loved and capable catering team in their own right. They became members of 3FM in 1994 when they ran the Lake District division of Red Rose '94. They still proudly wear their 3FM T-shirts and are still a part of us.

Keith Rawcliffe
Keith has been on a good number of events now, he settles himself in by the sink, armed with a bottle of Fairy and ample hot water. Nothing stays unwashed for more than 30 seconds, We are trying to get him to do a bit of cooking but he prefers his sink. We'll keep working on him.
Paul Woodhouse
Paul, a Scouter from Preston District was roped-in to help us with Niagara '97 and has been on a couple of events now.
Janet Fleet
Janet helps out at the Group where Paul Woodhouse is and as we were short of people for Niagara '97, Janet kindly stepped in to help us. She also came to Silverwood and was a superb help.
Jackie Manning
Came on Niagara '97 as First Aid Lady but worked with 3FM whenever she wasn't treating anyone. Luckily, this was most of the time
Debbie Mather
Debbie was introduced to 3FM via Lonnie, she normally attended our larger events, until she met Steve at Silverwood and married him. Our first 3FM Wedding!
Julie Paton
Julie volunteered for Staff on Niagara '97 but didn't realise she was on the Catering Team until the practise camp ! Luckily she didn't mind and became our "Social Secretary" for whilst we were over there, arranging trips out, days off, swimming sessions etc.
Nicki Croft
Like Julie, Nicki didn't realise she was Catering until the last minute.
Sheila Rogers
Sheila came on Niagara '97 with us and her past experiences with LCC really showed and were a great help
The Edwards Family
Graham & Gill were invited to come along to Silverwood and help as they had the right sort of mentality. They did, and brought Stuart & David along with them and were ALL a massive help and asset to the team
Steve Mather
Steve has always been a friend of 3FM but we managed to get him to come along to Silverwood. He hasn't looked back since!
Paul Wareing
Paul, a Scouter in Chorley District has always been game for a laugh and was thrown in at the deep end at Silverwood. He took on the job of brewing up for 650 people single handedly and did an excellent job of it.
Andrew Taylor (Stig)
Stig used to help us a long time ago but hasn't for a while, he does support us though by providing gas supplies to the most unusual of places when we need them for our events.
Jon Abbey
Jon used to be one of the regulars on our courses but has many other things on his plate at the moment. Jon still supports us though and is always welcome (As is anyone) to come back and join us.

Kate is our buffet & salads specialist, she works in the Catering department at Hutton Hall Police Headquarters and provides all our skill and expertise when it comes to buffets for weddings, 21sts etc.
Phil is was secretary of the 3rd Foot & Mouth, He has never worked professionally in the catering industry and is currently working in the building industry. Phil specialised in the washing-up area of 3FM's activities
Although some of the above are not involved now as much as they used to be, they are all valued for the work they put in over past times and ALL are welcome back should they wish to join us. Also, anyone interested in joining or supporting us, please get in touch, your help will be appreciated and you WILL enjoy yourself. Although there are many people in this list, we only have a small hardcore of people who cater for our present events. Please do not expect us to be able to cater for your event automatically, we are stretched at present. We will however, consider it, let us know what you want.
